CLUB POLICIES
  • The primary factor to group players will be age. Other factors could include physical characteristics, geographic location and ability. The club determines where each player will be placed

  • Both boys and girls can be placed in the same group up to the age of 11. At age 12 and beyond groups of only boys or girls will be the norm

  • Programs under the preschool and grassroots ages are based on festivals and not tournaments

  • In the event of a tournament (preschool and grassroots ages) all players must be given equal opportunity and playing time. Tournament must be played under FIFA approved statutes concerning laws of the game

  • Parents are responsible for shin guards and football shoes for their children. It is expected that children wear shin guards at all practices and games

  • In the event of club participation that requires travel, parents are responsible for travel fees and other documents if necessary. Travel must be approved by the parent on an individual basis. Children with unpaid monthly fees may be excluded from such travel arrangements

  • Any disputes will only be entertained if properly addressed in writing. Response may require further discussion amongst the board or those concerned so maybe delayed for a future date/time

  • Registration fee is a yearly fee (which can be adjusted by the club no less than 2 months from its due date) and covers enrollment and participation in the club’s activities. It also includes 1 t-shirt (jersey) which represents the club colors

  • Registering with the club also assumes registration with the Cayo Football Association and consequently with the Football Federation of Belize. These two entities can enter the player’s information in a database to be used for tracking and scouting potential players for district and national selections and programs

  • While coverage of insurance is optional, it is highly recommended. Tutoring of children for at least 1 monthly session will depend on group of volunteers and subjects

  • Once yearly registration has been submitted and child has participated in at least one (1) session no refund will be given. Club T-Shirt can be kept by the child. If child has not participated in any session registration fee minus $10 will be refunded. Club T-Shirt must also be returned

  • A player registered with the club shall not be allowed to participate with another club, team, league or tournament without the consent of Adventures Sports Club

  • If a player no longer wishes to be a member of the club, the parent can request a release form. All obligations with the club cease to exist once the release is granted in written form. Notice will be provided to the CFA and FFB who will determine if the player’s information is deleted or modified in their database. If at a later date the player wishes to re-register with the club fees will be current registration fee plus $30 administrative costs

  • Parents and players agree to put academic performance before the sport experience

  • For select teams (U13 and over) players with poor academic performance maybe excluded

  • Children with repeat offenses such as fighting, stealing, disrespect to officials, coaches, parents, fans or fellow players can face expulsion from the club

  • Parents understand and agree that photographs, videotape and or digital recordings of parents and children can be taken by the club and used in any and all media including the club website and flyers

  • Parents and players understand that the club will try to maintain a small scholarship program for students who are to enter high school. While all players will have the right to fill in an application, only one will be chosen based on the eligibility requirements adopted by the club or its sponsors which can be obtained from club representatives

  • Players are to present themselves to all sessions in their team jersey. Vests may also be available depending on the session which must be returned to the club at the end of the session

  • While we do not discriminate based on any factor, persons with disabilities will be considered as VIP, Very Important Persons and can be initiated in our REACH BELIZE Program and then moved over to our regular programs
